CONTENIDOS INGLÉS PRIMER TRIMESTRE

UNIT 0: LET’S START!

-Structures: What’s this? / It’s a…
-Alphabet.
-Spelling.
-Classroom commands and emotions vocabulary.
-Previous year vocabulary review.

UNIT 1: MY ROOM

-Room vocabulary: bed, cards, chair, door, notebook, pen, ruler, stickers, table, umbrella.
-Good posture vocabulary.
-Structures: There + to be, there are some…, there aren’t any…, Are there any…?, How many…are there?, I like, I don’t like.
-Direct and indirect questions.
-Emotions, rooms of the house, shapes, food, physical characteristics and animal vocabulary review.
-I like + ing and daily routines vocabulary review.
-Present continuous tense review.
-Numbers 1-30 review.
-Numbers 31-50.

UNIT 2: COOL CLOTHES

-Clothes vocabulary: t-shirt, trousers, skirt, jumper, tracksuit, shoes, jeans, dress, socks and “to wear”.
-More vocabulary: box, wardrobe, new/ old, kilt, cool, cotton, glass, paper, materials and recycle.
-Structures: Where is Fusy’s jumper?, Is your jumper in/on/under the wardrobe?, Are my socks in/on/under the box? + answers, to be made of
-Verb “to like”.
-Phrasal verbs: to put on, to take off.
-Review: What’s this?/ It’s a… , I’m wearing, You’re wearing, How many…?, animal, room, daily routines, clothes, food, feelings, toy and classroom vocabulary.
-Numbers 1-50 review.



CONTENIDOS 2º TRIMESTRE





Unit 3:
-Vocabulary:
Months of the year: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August,
September, October, November, December.
The weather: it’s cloudy, it’s cold, it’s foggy, it’s hailing, it’s hot, it’s raining, it’s
snowing, it’s stormy, it’s sunny, it’s windy.
-Structures:
What is the weather like? It’s … today.
What is the temperature today? It’s … degrees.
Content and Language Integrated Learning
-Natural Sciences: Plants.

Unit 4:
-Vocabulary:
Transports: boat, bus, helicopter, hot air balloon, lorry, motorcycle, ship, taxi, train,
tram, underground, van.
Money: coin, to buy, dollar, note, pound.
-Structures:
-How do you go to…? I go to … by …
-Do you go to … by …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
-How much is a …? It’s …

Unit 5:

 Vocabulary related to places in a school. 
Structures: 
• What time is it? It’s a quarter past / a quarter to / half past… It’s… o’clock.
• What does she do? She …s / She doesn’t …
• Does he …? Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
• What time does she …? She sometimes …s.

Unit 6: 

Vocabulary related to hobbies and free time activities, verbs related to actions. 
Structures:
• Is he …ing? Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.
• What’s she doing? She’s …ing. / She isn’t …ing
